United Way of Central Ohio is committed to
helping provide the basic needs of central Ohio while at the same time
working towards long-term, community-wide change. They understand there are
thousands of people in need every day and they actively fund programs that
fill those needs. You can make a difference, too, by donating to United Way
of Central Ohio...and when you do, you can get up to 7,000 Lounge Points in
your CD101 Lounge Account! Visit the United Way of Central Ohio site and
make an online donation. After you've donated, please print off or get an
email confirmation of your donation (including the donation amount). If you
give to United Way of Central Ohio through your workplace via payroll
deduction and have pledged for the 2007 Campaign, please obtain from your
Human Resources Department or Campaign Coordinator a summary of your
campaign pledge on company letterhead and submit it to CD101. Redeem this
proof of donation for CD101 Lounge Points in one of three ways:
1) email your proof of confirmation to recpt@cd101.com
2) fax your proof of confirmation to 227-0021
3) stop by the CD101 Studios during business hours and drop off your
confirmation.

What do you think a CD101
commercial should sound like?
We here at CD101 LOVE our listeners, and we love to
get as much input from you as possible think about it you already get to
tell us what songs you love and hate on the Sounding Board, our 5 Spot is
based on listener requests, some of you who are really lucky get to control
the airwaves for an hour as Guest DJ, and we have our annual Poster Calendar
contest where you express what CD101 is to you in the form of a poster
just to name a few. Well, your involvement just got even better because we
are going to let you submit your ideal CD101 Commercial that might run on
our online stream!
Your commercial can be about CD101 in general or can
be more specifically focused on an upcoming event, a section of the website,
one of our specialty programs The 5 Spot, The Independent Playground,
Invisible Hits, etc., you can even make a commercial about your favorite
DJ! We will be picking the ones that will make it to the online airwaves
but its not limited to one, so put your bets effort forward. You can make
one commercial or you can make a million but you will only receive 1011
lounge points once. The commercial must be EXACTLY 30 seconds or exactly 60
seconds.
